Ochre Trees
Kids got sick. Trying to carve out time to paint with sick kidos around. Had a nice time at the Annual Zion Bank Art Show last night. Great food and art.

Expecting Hope
Acrylic on Canvas
The title is a little redundant, but I am always eternally hopeful. My nature is to always be hopeful in any situation. I think it's better than the alternative. This painting just went to a new gallery for me, The District Gallery, in Park City. I had a wonderful morning with my dad visiting the gallery and out for lunch. Great rainy day for soup!

Seedlings
Acrylic on Canvas
I love the idea of so much growing out of one small seed. There is so much hope and symbolism.

Studio Series 1
I am doing this little series of one hundred oil paintings on paper. They are fun little jewels drying all over my house that I will probably post one or two a week.

Rain
Acrylic on Canvas
This could be approaching Colorado from the East when you get that first glimps of mountains after a long ride through the plains.

Convergent Boundaries
I wanted a title with something about the earth's layers, but a little more intersting. I had to ask my geologist husband for some ideas. I think this works for what I had in mind.
